EAST CAPE/LOS BARRILES
Here anglers have opened their drapes in the morning to see a pack of huge roosterfish zigzagging over the crystal clear reefs below them and leaping billfish just offshore.
From Spring to late fall the fishing here can be awesome for all Baja species and you may have a shot at the legendary yellowtail kingfish a real piscatorial "Rocky" who seriously punches its weight.
This is the fabled Sea of Cortez where the fishing is world class and the rhythm of life just a little more laid back when ashore. Then again you can always go fishing from the beaches which is in a class of its own.
With bait, lure or spanish fly the choice is yours.
You can even hire a quad bike for a real shoreline fishing expedition.
